Alcoutim River Beach (Pego Fundo)

The municipality's only beach is a river beach, nestled around a deep pool of the Cadavais stream, a tributary of the Guadiana. Its clear sand was brought here from the coast. In summer, the water reaches 30°C, and the only sounds are typically the chirping of birds and the gentle jingle of bells from nearby flocks.
