From Miradouro da Atalaia, at the top of the cliff, the view extends all the way to Sagres. The clay that accumulates at the base of the cliff, locals say, has medicinal properties — but the most beautiful sight is to watch the cool western hues melt into warm ochres as Ponta da Piedade draws near.
