Praia do Barranco das Belharucas

The name of this beach comes from the colorful bee-eaters that dig their nests into its cliffs. Here, the harder limestone rock of the western Algarve transitions into the softer cliffs that extend all the way to Loulé. The continuous stretch of sand is only interrupted by Vilamoura Marina, 5.5 km to the east.
