A faithful replica of a 16th-century caravel, built in 1990 for the Commemorations of the Discoveries. It measures 23.8 meters in length and has an 18-meter mast. It pays tribute to Gil Eanes, a native of Lagos, who in 1434 rounded the feared Cape Bojador in a similar vessel.
