Faro Beach (Ancão Peninsula)

Often called "Faro Island", it is actually part of the Ancão Peninsula, connected by a narrow bridge over the estuary. On the lagoon side, calm and used for water sports, the view encompasses the mountains and the city of Faro framed by the Ria Formosa.
